It was really hot on the bus, to and from school. His mother brought a big bottle of soda and teeny little cups, sat in the back of the bus and sold soda for fifty cents a cup. She was suspended for three weeks from riding the bus.......

When I had my house, a pipe burst in the basement, everything in boxes (oh, do those boxes EVER go away, sigh :] ) was soaked. The kids helped me get it all out to the front yard, where the stuff would get the most sun, while the plumber fixed the pipe. I went out later in the afternoon to check on the stuff. The SON was standing over a box of stuff scratching his head, talking to an old guy in a flannel shirt, jeans with suspenders, and boots. The kid was saying, "Jeese, I gotta get at least five bucks for it...." He was eight......

Needless to say, I had no idea what was in most of the boxes anyway, and the kid made some money. He bought a shovel for winter with it and spent winters walking the neighborhood shoveling, making more money with his investment...

90% of this did not come from me..... sad.Entre Noushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00186796216462041421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7357309411027735889.post-20338306687962343122010-09-23T17:00:19.305-04:002010-09-23T17:00:19.305-04:00Between the future card sales and youe e-trade acc...Between the future card sales and youe e-trade account you should all be sitting pretty soon :)Jimmyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11676883070882757501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7357309411027735889.post-54389650360958954882010-09-21T08:50:02.090-04:002010-09-21T08:50:02.090-04:00Wow, he's TEN?
