NAVY INVADES NIANTIC BEACH !

The ship came closer,

and closer.

Until THIS slid off the back and let loose.

It was enor-mouse,

and the closer it got, the more in awe the thousands in the crowd were.

It was incredibly loud. There is a HUMVEE in the front ready to drive off onto the beach!

It actually came on the beach, turned around in a sand cloud before returning to the water to adjust it's position on the beach.

Yup, everyone was smiling and feeling extremely proud.

2012 POLICE VEHICLE.

Final position on the beach.

Harbor was loaded with pleasure boats contained in one half by Marine Enforcement boats of all sizes and departments of enforcement.
Please Pardon the nuke plant in the background.

Landing assist.

No big deal is complete without
CONNECTICUT STATE POLICE.

A great time was had by all.

GO NAVY.

  4. Now THAT is cool!

Go Navy indeed! My godson, (husband's business partner's son), is headed off to the Naval Academy next week as their newest quarterback. We are so excited!

  8. Great photos! Strange as it seems. We have a Marine base very close to our house. There are huge hangers there on the beach that house several of these things. There is also a nuke plant (closed, I'm happy to say) near it also.

  9. “Kenny Dalglish as a person has pushed himself to the limit,” said the Scot during the news conference, flashbulbs lighting up his face.
